About Us

Well first off, we're engaged!! 

But you already knew that right? And if you're reading this chances are you already know us - but if you don't - Hi!

We're Dave & Jess 

And we're getting married on St John, USVI on April 20th, 2013

We met February 27th, 2009 at a bar in Baltimore (i know).

He was finishing up law school at UB and I was working in ad sales at AOL. 

Fast forward 3+years and we now live together in a spacious 1br apartment in Arlington, VA - and got engaged over Memorial Day weekend in Dewey Beach :)

This is us on St John for New Years/Dave's birthday this year

and this is us at The Baths on Virgin Gorda in the BVI's on the same trip

(would highly recommend a trip to the Baths if you have time)

at this point I know what you're thinking, and yes, Dave does have great hair. and a huge tongue.

and yes, my hair is a different color in pretty much every photo. They say the key to a healthy relationship is spontaneity :)

and laughter. and compromise. and trust. and a lot of other things we do well, not so well, and will learn to do well over the course of our lives together. Because we're not taking this marriage stuff lightly. That's why we're asking our family and friends to fly to St Thomas, take a ferry to St John and have a kick-ass celebration/vacation with us. Because we're only doing this once. And we want to make it fabulous.
